3 Tips to Make Your Morning Routine Run Smoother
Mornings seem to be a hectic time of the day. Whether you are getting ready for work, helping the kids get ready for school or summer camp, or doing all of the above, you may feel you are running around and never have enough time. These tips will help you get your morning under control and they will run smooth. To make sure all is accomplished and everyone makes it to their place on time with everything they need, a routine must be started and maintained.
The first tip is to do some items the night before such as making lunches, laying out clothes for the kids and signing any papers that need to be signed or sent back to school. Arrange your children’s drop off and pick up if necessary and have their equipment ready.
The second tip is to set your alarm 15 minutes earlier to give yourself time to review your day and make any adjustments and to have your quiet time. You might need to find someone to pick up your child at a sporting event or summer camp if something at work has changed your plans.
The third tip is to make sure there is an area for book bags, coats and shoes, so the morning is not taken up by looking for all these items. Make sure the place to hang them is low enough so the littler kids can get their own items.
