Julie has been organizing homes in the Columbus and Central Ohio areas including Powell, Dublin, Upper Arlington, New Albany, Bexley, Worthington, and Westerville since 2004. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she received a bachelor's degree in marketing. She spent 20 years in the insurance industry before making this rewarding move to organizing. "I have always been organized, even as a teenager, my room was always clean. I spent a Christmas vacation at my parent's home arranging their pictures into albums and removing them from a giant box."
She joined The National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals and the local NAPO chapter in 2004 and has served on both boards in various positions. In 2013, Julie received her Certified Professional Organizer® designation which required an extensive number of hours organizing and sitting for and passing an exam covering all aspects of organizing. Continuing education is required to maintain this designation. From 2014- 2019 Julie was a member of the Institute for Challenging Disorganization whose mission is to provide education, research and strategies to benefit people challenged by disorganization. Classes provided Julie with the knowledge to help those with ADD, ADHD and hoarding issues.
Julie has been featured in the Columbus Dispatch, on Channel 4, Channel 10, Fox 28, and was on A & E Hoarders program as a professional organizer.
