5 Key Benefits to Getting Organized

You ask why should I get organized, what benefits are there? I am happy with the way my space looks. Maybe you are one of the many clients I have who really are ready to get organized and need to know what the benefits are so you can see how much it will change your life. There are 5 key benefits to getting organized that you will see when you get your space organized even if it is just one space.

The first benefit is a clearer mind as getting organized clears everything from your space to your mind. When you have clutter it not only takes up the room in your space it effects your mind because it is always there. You see it and it clutters your mind with thoughts of failed attempts, failure as a person, and not being able to think clearly. Your concentration lacks and your memory is cluttered because of the clutter around you. Think of the memories you can make, the concentration you will have and your overall well being when you get organized.

Another benefit is less is more when it comes to space. When you get organized you will have such a bigger space because the clutter will be gone and you can see how nice your room looks. It will also be safer because you will not risk tripping on items that have been left behind. The memories of your home are more important then the stuff.

The third benefit is better health. Many of my clients are able to lose weight because the weight of the clutter is gone. They are also able to cook again and the healthy habits come back. Many cluttered kitchens just become a place to stick the drive thru bags and the appliances thought to maybe improve the cooking experience but never used because there is not really an room to do the cooking. Unopened boxes, bags and mail litter the counters. Clearing the clutter will improve your health.

Another key benefit to getting organized is you will save money. Many of my clients have the same item multiple times because they cannot find anything. They continue to buy the same thing over and over. Getting organized allows you to see what you have and what you really need. No more buying the same item multiple times, needing to toss expired food because you did not know you already had too much, or having bags of clothes never returned because you waited too long. Purging your clothes will save you money because you will finally see what you actually have and what you actually need.

The last key benefit is that getting organized will increase your productivity both at work and at home. You will be able to set goals and accomplish tasks and projects in a timely manner.
